9/11/09 Our adorable Abby has turned 4. Our little girl is not so little anymore. If she wasn't so cuddly I would be sad at how fast she is aging! But alas, she is still a full time cuddle bug. She had a little party with 7 friends from church and pre school. They played on the water slide, on the trampoline, played games and had a awesome cake made for her by Mom (Jane)! Everybody had a lot of fun! Happy Birthday Abby!
9/2/09 Tia turned years old! We had a small family gathering at our house consisting of myself, Jane and Abby. Jane made Tia a great cake that was just her size! Happy Birthday Tia!
Abby went to work with me one Saturday. She was very helpful and wanted to work too. She rode around in a cable cart(pictured), rode in a scissor lift and got to pose on the set in front of a random neighborhood backing! She had a great time and I was happy to have her with me!
Tia drove us around on our trip in the forest of southern Utah! She is a better drive than most Los Angeles area drivers! Seriously though, we were on a rural dirt road and I had control of the vehicle at all times so please , no worries .
Well, we went on a summer vacation this year! My first summer vacation in at least 4 years! We went to a cabin we rented in the mountains of southern Utah. While there we boated, went horseback riding, cave spelunking, hiking, ATVing and so much more. Melanie and her family was there as well as Abby and Tias' Grandma Scofield and Aunt Aunt Alice and her two kids. A great time was had by all! More pictures to follow.
So Tia mangaed to open the broiler door on the oven and burned both of her hands. It was one of those terrible kinds of accidents that parents worry about but you hope they don't happen to you. Oh well, at least she didn't lose an eye! Just kidding. Mom was upset when Dad let her dunk her newly bandaged hands in the toilet. My bad!!!!
Abby and Daddy went to G & G's house for a couple days after Christmas! It was a wonderful time for Abby to try out her snow clothes that G & G gave her for Christmas! We went sledding, threw snowballs and made snow angels! We also played some Wii and Abby enjoyed trying to establish dominance over Elby! It was a great experience to spend some real quality time with each other and Grandma and Grandpa!
The Valencia LeChems consists of me Toby, my wife Jane, our 4 year old daughter Abby and our 1 year old daughter Tia! We love having family time and love one another!
